Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026. CrikIQ uses cookies, browser local storage, and server-side identifiers on the web for authentication, security, preferences, product analytics, and optional advertising. The mobile apps use secure storage, device identifiers for guest continuity, push tokens, and a subscription cache, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Strictly necessary

Session and authentication tokens, your stored consent preference (crikiq:consent:v1), security and abuse-prevention signals, and guest device identifiers that keep an unregistered session continuous. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in and core features.

Functional

Interface preferences such as theme, accent colour, language, and layout choices. Denying these means the site will not remember how you like it configured between visits.

Analytics

Google Analytics tells us which features are used and where people get stuck. Analytics storage is denied by default in the EEA and the UK until you choose otherwise in the consent banner, and can be withdrawn at any time.

Advertising

Google AdSense on the web and AdMob in the mobile apps may set cookies or use device identifiers to select and frequency-cap advertising. Where you have not granted advertising consent, Google Consent Mode signals restrict processing and you receive non-personalised advertising rather than targeted advertising. CrikIQ Pro subscribers browse the mobile apps without advertising.

Google Consent Mode

CrikIQ applies Google Consent Mode v2 signals — analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization — on every page load, defaulting to denied before you make a choice. Consent changes are written to an audit record so we can demonstrate what was granted and when.

Managing your preferences

Open Privacy choices in the site footer to review or change your web settings at any time. On mobile, manage ad tracking through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or Android Settings → Google → Ads. Clearing your browser storage resets your choice and the banner will ask again. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent sign-in.
