The league directory covers professional competitions and grassroots leagues running on CrikIQ. Here is how to tell them apart and what each listing gives you.
What is listed
- Professional series
- International tours, domestic first-class structures, and franchise T20 competitions, carried from licensed data feeds. Follow them for fixtures, results, and standings.
- Grassroots leagues
- Club and community competitions created and run by organizers on CrikIQ. Their fixtures, tables, and player records come from matches scored in the app.
Reading a listing
- Status — whether the competition is live, upcoming, or completed for the current season.
- Season label — competitions are organised by season, so a league carries several across the years.
- Format — the overs per innings and whether the competition is a round robin, group stage, or knockout.
- Standings — the points table with net run rate where the format uses it.
Joining a league
Grassroots leagues are joined by invitation from the organizer rather than by open sign-up, because a competition's team list determines its fixtures and standings. If you run a club, ask the league secretary for an invite; if you want to start your own, create a season and generate fixtures from the league centre.
