How to stream cricket from your phone

Step-by-step: install CrikIQ, open the fixture, connect YouTube, Go Live with score overlays, and share the watch link with fans.

  • Works on iOS and Android
  • Score ticker burned into the stream
  • Share from the match scorecard
  • Pro entitlement required to start live

1. Sign in and open the match

Install CrikIQ from the App Store or Google Play. Sign in, find the fixture under Matches or your league centre, and open it before first ball.

2. Connect YouTube once

From Streaming → YouTube, link the channel you want to publish to. You can skip this only if you already configured RTMP elsewhere — most clubs use YouTube connect.

3. Go Live with graphics

Tap Go Live. The scorebar stays on video; director cards auto-switch for wickets, new bowlers, partnerships, and breaks. Mount the phone on a tripod with a power bank.

4. Score and share

Score ball-by-ball so overlays stay accurate. Share the watch link from the scorecard. For laptop cameras and full boards (worm, squad), use OBS overlays instead.

How it works

  1. Confirm Pro before match day — Live start needs CrikIQ Pro. Check Pricing and subscribe on web or in-app.
  2. Test network at the ground — Use a stable hotspot; read Streaming Offline tips if coverage is weak.
  3. Assign scorer permissions — The account going live should be allowed to score/stream that fixture.
  4. Tell fans where to watch — Post the YouTube / match link in WhatsApp and club channels.
